reminds me of my old organization, the Green Peace. I was a member of the Green Peace in the early 1980s while I was in the Netherlands. Infact my institute, the Institute of the Social Studies " I.S.S", was the center of the activities and emerging of two movements from marginal geoups to main stream. the feminst movement, and the Greens. Incase of our beloved Sudan, Green to me reflects combining between sustainable development, environmental justice, promoting the lasting peace in Sudan, respect for human rights, and establish a secular, modern, and democratic state.
